Profession:

Elizabeth: Competitive Trampoline and Tumbling coach

John: Voice Teacher

Time at Good Bodies: Since 2025

How has personal training improved your life?

Elizabeth: I feel stronger in my work, from moving equipment to throwing and catching youth athletes. My job requires a unique balance of strength & flexibility.

John: Personal Training has helped me feel more energetic and alleviated the pain I was experiencing in my lower back.

What do you like best about Good Bodies?

Elizabeth: The community, not only between clients, but among staff as well.

John: I love the friendly atmosphere that the staff cultivates and the ample space we have for various exercises.

What has been your biggest obstacle to success?  How did you overcome it?

Elizabeth: My medical history. My labrum repair surgery on my left shoulder was in 2014, but it has left me a multitude of complications years later. We still aren’t sure what the right solution will be, but Toni and Jack are working hard to help me with the knowledge they do have! I truly cannot thank them enough for their dedication to my improvement.

John: A lack of motivation. Having a trainer encourages to me to push a little bit harder during workouts.

Favorite Exercise:

Elizabeth: The Prowler push (but only if the weather is nice.)

John: Row Machine

Least Favorite Exercise:

Elizabeth: Wall sits at the end of leg day!

John: Burpees

Favorite phrase your trainer uses with you:

Toni with Elizabeth: “Here, let’s try this.”, and, “Yeah, you have long femurs.”

Eric with John: “Load and Fire!”

Do you have a special word or comment about your trainer?

Elizabeth: Toni looks out for my well-being first and foremost. My form and comfort always come before the number of repetitions.

John: Eric is incredibly easy to work with. He makes our workouts fun while still being motivating.
